India is the second-largest producer of tea in the world, and going there without tasting one of their traditional flavors is like never going at all. Here’s a couple you should definitely try during your visit to this Asian country.

Darjeeling Tea

The so-called “Champagne of Teas” definitely deserves its title, and it will win you over with its distinct floral taste.

Assam Tea

Assam is the world’s largest tea-growing area, and the tea named after it is easily recognizable for its malty flavor and strong color.

Nilgiri Tea

If you’re looking for an aromatic and strong tea with a smooth flavor, this is the best option you could possibly pick while in India.

Noon Chai

This tea variation will also be a delight for your eyes, thanks to its distinctive bright pink color.

Masala Chai

This mixed-spice tea can be found all over the world, but you should definitely try it in India since it originates from this country.
