]]>According to Google, London was the most searched for destination when it came to flights. The English capital was followed by Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, France’s capital Paris, Delhi in India, and Toronto in Canada.
Although New York was not in the top five destinations, the Manhattan Bridge was the top trending search query for scenic spots. Travelers were also curious about the Golden Gate View Point near San Francisco, the Bellagio Fountain in Las Vegas, the Statue of Liberty View Point in NYC, and Arizona’s Horseshoe Bend.
“Looking back at 2022, it’s heartening that so many people were thinking about international travel once again,” said Richard Holden, the VP of travel products at Google. “It’s certainly evident on Google Flights, with several cities in Europe and Asia seeing greater interest from US travelers compared to 2021.”
Since October, global citizens outside of the United States have been unable to book flights directly through Google. The feature is set to be disabled in the US at the end of March next year.
