]]>In 2016, I Love Paris was named as the best airport restaurant in the world at the Airport Food and Beverage Awards (yes, that’s a thing). Seven years later, we’re still in love. Found in Terminal 2E, one can expect French cuisine made with seasonal ingredients and champagne that might be worth missing your flight for.
Every Italian restaurant thinks they can make Italian food, but real foodies know that’s not true. Cotto at La Guardia Airport does justice to the cuisine, with their garganelli with radicchio, speck, and truffle butter even being recommended in the Michelin Guide.
Changi Airport alone is worth paying a visit to. Often named the best airport in the world thanks to its stunning architecture, climbing wall, and butterfly garden. Another feature is certainly Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant, The Kitchen. Expect a menu filled with top-quality Asian fusion dishes.

]]>If you find yourself flying this holiday season, cross your fingers that you will end up at one of these four airports with beautiful, festive holiday decorations!
Chicago’s main airport is one of the most beautiful places that you will find during the holiday season. Here, in Terminal 3, O’Hare hangs up elaborate ribbons and lights that give a magical holiday air to the air travel experience.
It should come as no surprise that one of the fanciest airports on Earth goes all out for the holidays. At Changi, you’ll find a massive Christmas tree forest as well as a light show that transforms the airport’s famous central waterfall into a snowstorm!
In this German airport, the holiday spirit is alive and well. You will find a 50-foot tall centerpiece tree decorated with 5,000 lights as well as 450 smaller trees decorated with various themes around the airport. Oh, and there’s also a fully functional Christmas market.
Schiphol also does it big for the holiday season. The biggest Dutch airport not only has a huge variety of lights and Christmas trees, but Santa and a gang of roller skating elves also make periodic visits in the terminals.
