The trails at the park are almost never crowded so visitors can enjoy a vacation of self-reflection or quality time with loved ones. Noah Purifoy, the founder of the outdoor museum, was a sculptural artist best known for his celebration of found objects, in complex assemblages. The outdoor museum has a range of sculptures that are constantly shifting mainly composed of recycled appliances.
Best of the beauties of Joshua Tree though is the night sky. After the sun sets, the wide and flat desert is blanketed with darkness and brilliant constellations.
