As autumn arrives and summer becomes but a memory, we can still enjoy the beautiful outdoors and rhythmic waves by visiting these top bodyboarding locations.

Bodyboarding is like surfing but you lie on the board. It’s not dangerous and is a relaxing and calm way to enjoy the outdoors.

If this sounds like your idea of fun, here are 4 of the best bodyboarding spots in the world.

Canggu, Bali, Indonesia

The soft intermediate waves and warm waters of Canggu are perfect for bodyboarding. The site has recently built a café and a center where you can hire boards and take surfing lessons.

Goldcoast, Queensland, Austalia

This Australian coastline offers 70 kilometers of sun-kissed beaches and soft white sands. The best locations for bodyboarding are The Rainbow Bay and Duranbah as they have the calmest waters.

Fistral, England

Located in England’s south-west region Cornwall, Fistral is the home of British surfing. There is a great mix of calm waters and adrenal boarding at times, and the site offers an International Surfing Center.

Hoddevik, Norway

The rugged coastline of Norway is perfect for surfing and is practically empty. We now know that surfing in colder climates is more than possible, and can in fact help strengthen the immune system and improve blood circulation.

If you’ve ever wanted to be truly inspired by a fellow traveler, have we got a suggestion for you!

Alvaro Rojas is a 28-year-old traveler from Madrid, Spain who is attempting to be the youngest person ever from his country to visit all of Earth’s 197 countries. This means that he spends much of his free time wandering around some of the most under-visited and obscure countries in the world.

His travels are truly like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get!

It’s refreshing to find a feed like @wanderreds, featuring a traveler that visits countries that aren’t constantly visited and posted to outlets like Instagram. Instead of seeing a picture of the Eiffel Tower for the thousandth time, when you follow Rojas, you might see one like this, of the Faroe Islands!

Not only does Rojas keep us posted with shots of the places that he visits, but he also is sure to show everyone just how much fun he’s having while doing so. Instead of his 197 country mission being a burden, he has a great time while doing it!

You won’t regret giving this fantastic travel blogger a follow.

Many of you have been following @wanderreds for a while now, and for that I'm extremely grateful. Others are new to my adventures, so I wanted to say Hi to you all, and use today's post to tell you guys a little about myself: 1. My name is Alvaro (Wander is just an alias ?). Reds comes from my family name in spanish, and most usual nickname from my friends. 2. I'm 29, Spanish ??, from Madrid! 3. Real Madrid ⚽ and Packers ?fan 4. I have studied and lived in France ?? and U.S. ?? during college. 5. I DO have a 9 to 5 job (more like 9 to 8 ?)! I work in Finance for an Oil and Gas company, halfway between West Africa and Spain! 6. I'm by no means rich, didn't inherit a fortune, or have a huge paycheck. Instead, I live frugally and save up every single $ I can to travel more! 7. I travel every day I'm not working: on holidays, long weekends, summer vacation, Xmas, Easter… YOU name it! Over 100 days in trips! 8. I've been to 99 countries so far, and 2018 will be my most ambitious Year yet: I plan to visit 60 new countries! 9. Two years ago, I decided to just visit new places, but some of the ones I'd go back to in a heartbeat are: Japan, Indonesia, USA, Iran and The PH! 10. Some of my upcoming trips include: Ecuador & Galapagos, Faroe Islands, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, East Timor & Australia! How about you guys? Tell me something about you that I don't know! What are your travel goals? ?✌
