No major city is complete without a giant Ferris wheel with amazing views that you can’t get anywhere else. Brisbane is no different, and its Ferris wheel, often referred to as Brisbane Eye, is one of the city’s most popular attractions for tourists of all ages.

The Wheel of Brisbane was erected in 2008, and it took only a decade to become one of the main landmarks of Australia’s River City. Most people who are ready to splurge on a ticket are there for the amazing panoramic views of Brisbane’s skyline that you can enjoy during the ride.

This famous Ferris wheel is 60 meters high, and you can pinpoint all of Brisbane’s main landmarks while up in the air. The ride is 12 minutes long, giving you enough time to soak up the spectacular 360-degree panoramic view and take great photos that you’ll cherish forever.

You couldn’t miss the Brisbane Eye even if you tried thanks to its gigantic size and easily accessible South Bank Parklands location. Ticket prices vary, but adult admission is currently set at $18.05. Working hours are also prone to change, but the Wheel of Brisbane usually opens at 10 am and keeps on rolling until 8 pm Monday to Thursday and until 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
