You can actually make salmon if you have a hot water kettle or even a coffee pot! Just boil water and pour it into a bowl, or use the pot of the coffee maker if that’s all you have, put the salmon in, and leave it to poach until the salmon turns pink!
Couscous is a great grain that’s super versatile and tastes great cold or hot. Just boil water again, pour it over the couscous and cover it with a plate or towel for 10 minutes until it’s absorbed. Serve with raw or cooked veggies and enjoy!
Rice noodles are great because they also only need to be soaked, but take even less time to make than couscous! Just pour hot water over them for a few minutes, drain the excess, and use in a salad or other noodle dishes!
