Cambridge’s Landmark Forest Adventure Park may not have huge rollercoasters, but your kids will love this family-friendly park. Highlights include the Runaway Timber Train, Otter, Falcon, Wildcat, and Wild Water Coaster.

]]>This will not be the first time the iconic theme park has added a themed attraction to their list. Almost a decade ago, the park introduced SAW: The Ride, based on the horror movies of the same name. More recently, they added a “Walking Dead” roller coaster and now, a Black Mirror maze is entering the scene.
The maze will be a chance for park visitors to step inside the technological mind-bending world of Charlie Brooker’s legendary Netflix show.
“Get lost as you enter a hypnotic maze using cutting-edge visual technology and sensory-defying environments,” the official Thorpe Park website teases. “Will you keep your grip on reality or will you lose yourself in the mainframe as this unpredictable digitized dimension reveals an uneasy truth that manipulates and displaces your very existence.”

]]>Spinball Whizzer is the most family-friendly coaster on the list. The coaster cart spins round and takes several dips and turns. If you’re looking for thrills, however, it doesn’t quite pack the same punch as the rest of the coasters in the park.
Galactica is one of the newer rides in the park. It was designed to feature virtual reality headsets, but these were recently scrapped. Since then, Galactica has been more of a snorefest than a thrillfest.
Nemesis one of the oldest coasters in the park. Still, it pulls in hundreds of park visitors, all queuing to ride the park’s only suspension coaster.
Th13teen is mostly an average coaster that takes you speeding through the forest. One exciting twists warrants riding the coaster again and again.
“Rita” is the park’s only launch coaster. It has no loops or corkscrews, but the launch start will have you clutching at your seat every time.
Oblivion is a dive coaster that holds you above a huge hole before you plunging you headfirst down a vertical slope. The trill is top class, but the queues are sometimes a little long for a ride that is over in a few seconds.
Wicker Man is one of the greatest wooden roller coasters in the world. It reaches speeds of 70 km/h and 2,608.3 ft in length. Unlike traditional wooden coasters, the ride is incredibly smooth.
The Smiler is the world’s first Gerstlauer Infinity Coaster. It holds the world record for the most inversions, boasting 14 in total. It’s easily the best ride in the park and is a competitor for the best ride in the whole of the UK.
