In the series, it’s doubled by the 16th-century Burghley House in Lincolnshire and the fairytale-like Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire.
The birthplace of Queen Victoria, Kensington Palace is Charles and Diana’s London residence in Season 4 of The Crown. Among the places that doubled as the royal residence were Hertfordshire’s Brocket Hall, one of Queen Victoria’s favorite country estates and once home to two British Prime Ministers in the 19th century.
