Interactive museums are booming around the world, and Australia has several pretty impressive ones in store. Sugar Republic is the sweetest and most vibrant of them all, and it’s the perfect place to visit if you want to go back home with a bunch of colorful photos.

This museum opened its doors at Melbourne’s historic MacRobertson’s chocolate factory in 2018, before going on tour around the east coast of Australia. They pride themselves in providing all visitors with the sweetest possible experience in the land down under.

“We believe that the fun shouldn’t stop when you’re a grown-up, so we created a wonderland of nostalgic spaces where you can re-live your childhood and immerse yourself in joy,” reads Sugar Republic’s official website.

Despite the fact it’s not defined at such, Sugar Republic is essentially a selfie museum and it features ten interactive and Instagram-friendly set-ups where you can take amazing photos. Most of them are candy-inspired and feature giant replicas of gum bubbles, cakes, marshmallows, and other sweet treats.
