]]>Pattaya is located about 100 kilometers southeast of Bangkok, and the Sanctuary of Truth is its most iconic attraction. The Thai businessman Lek Viriyaphan started the process of construction all the way back in 1981, and this temple is still partly unfinished and it won’t be fully completed before 2025.
The Sanctuary of Truth may be a work in progress, but that’s not stopping it from being one of the most impressive temples in all of Thailand. It’s was envisioned in the Ayutthaya style, and several different types of woods have been used to give each corner of this temple a unique texture.
The Sanctuary of Truth is open to visitors every day between 8 am and 6 pm and there are many fun activities you can enjoy during your visit. After exploring this beautiful woodcarving structure inside and out, you can take ATV or speed boat rides, or give elephant and horse riding a try.
