]]>When it first opened its doors in 2006, Eureka Tower was the tallest residential building in the world. It dropped to 20th place in the years to come, but it’s still the third tallest building in Australia, with an impressive height of 297.3 meters.
The Rialto Towers as we know them today were completed in 1986 and went on to become one of Melbourne’s most recognizable symbols. This skyscraper looks most spectacular during sunsets when its color ranges from a trademark dark blue shade to brilliant gold.
Australia 108 earned the title of the tallest building in Australia by roof height and it’s expected to be fully completed this year. At this point in time, it’s also the first and only skyscraper in the Southern Hemisphere to have at least 100 floors.
