]]> There’s one thing you should always bring with you when you’re traveling: a book! Books are essential to having a well-rounded trip, and here are some reasons why.

Solo Travel

Especially if you’re traveling by yourself, it’s nice to do an activity that’s still active even if you’re alone. Reading at a bar or restaurant if you won’t be joined by anyone is a good way to keep yourself engaged and occupied. But, if you’re not traveling alone, there’s no reason why you can’t take some time to yourself and read in these places anyway!

En Route

Especially if you’re on a flight or a long bus or train, there’s no excuse not to get some reading it. Not only is it fun, but it’ll put you in the mood for vacation if you’re not a consistent reader at home. Getting into the mindset of a trip is half that fun!

There’s something about travel that always makes me want to read. Maybe it’s because you can relax and a book can just add towards those fun, relaxing vibes or maybe because you don’t feel so distracted with the other things you need to do. . . Whatever it is, it definitely gets to me. Whenever I travel, I always bring a book for the down time we got. And this time, my hubby was excited to bring his own book (#Relentless by Tim Grover). Time to Relax

One of the best ways to enjoy a new place is to do it like the locals do. Go check out a park or a green space and bring your book along with you so you have something to do! You might even meet some locals while you’re at it.
