Baseball fans from all around the world flock to the United States year after year to take in games at stadiums around the country, big and small. Major League Baseball is the biggest league in the world in the sport, and if there is any U.S. state that serves as the epicenter of the game, it has to be California.

With five teams, California wields its might when it comes to America’s Pastime and has a number of lovely stadiums. Here are three that you should make plans to visit the next time you’re in the Golden State.

AT&T Park (San Francisco Giants)

Built in 2001 and located right on the edge of the San Francisco Bay, arguably the most beautiful park in baseball is the San Francisco Giants’ AT&T Park. The winners of 3 World Series titles over the past 11 seasons, you’re also sure to catch an entertaining game here.

Dodger Stadium (Los Angeles Dodgers)

At the bottom of Chavez Ravine you will find Dodger Stadium, which opened in 1962 and is one of the biggest stadiums in the league, holding over 56,000 fans. The Dodgers are one of the best teams in the league and almost always are at the top of the league in attendance, and their passionate but laid-back fans are always fun to interact with.

Petco Park (San Diego Padres)

The newest park on this list is San Diego’s Petco Park, the gorgeous home of the Padres which opened just 17 years ago. In the middle of downtown San Diego and next to the Gaslamp District, hang out in the chic Western Metal Supply Company building or in the grassy picnic area in the outfield for a great evening of baseball.
