There are many unusual and quirky houses around the world, and the last one that drew our attention is this incredible house in Massachusetts built with newspaper. The most impressive thing about it is that it still stands after nearly a century.

To visit the newspaper house, you need to go to the Pigeon Cove neighborhood in Rockport, Massachusetts. There are signs that will help you find it from the main road but look carefully as they are small. You can go for a self-guided tour every day from 10 am to 5 pm from April to October.

After nearly 100 years, it’s no surprise that some of the layers have started to peel off, but the visitors are actually enjoying that part as it gives them a unique glimpse of history.

The man who built the house was an engineer named Elis F. Stenman who had previously used newspapers to build other things, but no project measured in size to this house. He even managed to live in it for two years! His motivation to build something like this was never fully disclosed, but he likely wanted to explore cheaper ways to build homes. He also made the glue for holding the newspaper layers himself using flour, water, and apple rind!
