There’s one travel issue that no one particularly likes to talk about: toilets. Or, more accurately, locating them when you’re out and about in a foreign city (or even worse, out in nature) and need to go. Badly. This truly amazing—and not nearly well-known enough—app is designed for just those situations. Its rather straightforward name, Flush Toilet Finder, says it all; but here’s a quick recap of its key functionalities.

Go – Everywhere You Go

Flush Toilet Finder is meant for those cases where you need a bathroom ASAP, and there’s none in sight. You don’t know the area, and most likely don’t speak the language, and time is running out.

This useful app offers a quick, easy way to uncover the closest public restroom. Just open it, and voila! It’s like a toilet treasure map, minus the pirate ship. And the best part? It won’t cost you a dime. You can also filter for specific criteria like disabled access, key requirement, or a usage fee, as well as report on toilets that you found to be a hard thumbs-down.

With a whopping 200,000 bathrooms in its arsenal, this app definitely has your back(side). So, next time nature calls and you’re on the move, don’t hesitate to use it.

If you are already filled with wanderlust, these wonderful works of fiction may just give you the extra nudge you need to take a bold step into the unknown and embark on your next adventure.

On The Road (Jack Kerouac)

On The Road is based on the real-life travels of Jack Kerouac and his friends. Filled with adventure and dynamite quotes, there are few books as persuasive as this when it comes to the prospect of living life on the open road.

The Alchemist (Paulo Coelho)

The Alchemist is essentially a parable of hearing out your destiny and following your dreams. It’s about listening to your heart and taking that journey you’ve been itching to take, even if it means giving up the comforts of home.

The Beach (Alex Garland)

The Beach unfolds into something of a horror story but at the core is the burning desire we all have to escape our worries and discover paradise.

Hector and the Search for Happiness (Francois Lelord)

Hector and the Search for Happiness is a story of an unsatisfied man traveling the world in the hope that he can learn something about what it means to be happy. Filled with fantastic quotes and wisdom, this is a book which truly inspires.

Into The Wild (Jon Krakauer)

Although we are not recommending you follow in the footsteps of the bold and reckless Chris McCandless, there are some pearls of wisdom in his tragic tale. These moments of truth offer a profound exploration of what it means to travel and to feel alive.
