If you are looking for a nice place to rest your head, go to this park. It’s devoted to the partisan women (that’s what the name means) and today it’s the main attraction for locals who gather and play chess, keeping the neighborhood spirit alive. 

The Clock That Stopped 

Skopje was hit by a great earthquake back in 1963 at exactly 5:17 am. The clock on the main train station stopped working at that moment exactly, and it’s still here to remind us of the great tragedy. The train station is now a Skopje museum.

Being the second largest city in the country Bitola has a lot to offer. Bitola is known as a cultural city, especially in summer when the city actually transforms into an open-air festival.
