This UNESCO World Heritage Site is 2,000 years old and the most studied Maya city. Today, visitors get to enjoy a number of stelae and altars that were mostly erected in the 8th century.

Museum of Mayan Sculpture, Copán

The museum is located at the Copàn Ruins Archeological Site and it’s a home of original sculptures, altars, and stelae that were recovered from the site.

Utila is a favorite location of backpackers, being that it’s the most affordable of the Bay Islands. It’s only 13 km long and offers incredible but not too expensive diving vacations.
