This traditional Japanese garden covers 12 acres of Portland’s Washington Park and it’s been around since the late 60s. You can explore eight garden spaces built in Japanese style during your visit, and use this time to connect with nature and experience peace.

Lan Su Chinese Garden

If you ever find yourself in Portland’s Chinatown, this is one of the top spots you should check out. Inspired by the famous classical gardens in Suzhou, Lan Su Chinese Garden houses 400 species of indigenous Chines plants and several water-side pavilions.

International Rose Test Garden

Portland is known as the City of Roses, and this garden is one of the reasons why. It’s home to over 10,000 rose bushes of 650 different varieties, and an estimated 700,000 visitors come here to admire them every year.
