According to the TikToker, you should tell your ride to pick you up at the departures section instead of the arrivals section.

“Come to the departures level if the arrival level is completely slammed with cars because then the person who’s picking you up can get up here with no issues, and they don’t have to wait in line,” @onegirlwandering shared in her now-viral video that got 1.1 million views since being published in July. 

When you think about it, the hack actually makes a lot of sense. The departures section is usually a lot less crowded since it is rare for large groups of travelers to arrive at the same time for a flight. On the other hand, the arrivals section gets packed really quickly since all travelers who just landed want to leave the airport at the same time.
