Everyone knows that when visiting Chicago, one must try a deep-dish pizza. But the windy city has more to offer in terms of “must eat” dishes. Here are a few.

Rainbow Cone

The Original Rainbow Cone ice cream parlor was started in 1926 by Joseph and Kathrine Sapp. Almost 100 years later it is still owned by the Sapps’ grandchild, still in Chicago, a true establishment. Rainbow cone offer a large variations and flavors of ice cream, including The Original Cone ® serving of Chocolate, Strawberry, Palmer House, Pistachio, and Orange Sherbet.

Garrett’s Popcorn

Another Chicago establishment, founded in Chicago in 1949 and expanded to a massive chain across nine countries, is Garrett Popcorn Shops. Famous for their classic CaramelCrisp and CheeseCorn popcorn flavors, all the popcorn made at Garrett’s is handmade in copper kettles, true to tradition.

Hot Dogs, Chicago Style
