Everyone has to see the iconic Hollywood Sign, which was created in 1923, in person at least once in their lifetime. The sign can be seen pretty much anywhere throughout the town, but make sure you see it in one of the prime viewing spots so you can get that Instagram photo.
Probably one of the most touristy spots, the Hollywood Walk of Fame has the stars of 2,657 of the best actors of all time. The Hollywood Walk of Fame runs on several blocks so make sure you are ready to walk.
Griffith Observatory has been the backdrop for many movies over the year and while there you can see planetarium shows, have late-night star viewing parties, and go hiking.
Hollywood and Highland has everything from entertainment and fine dining to shopping. Old-time film buffs will love the central courtyard’s homage to DW Griffith’s iconic Intolerance set.
