These islands off the coast of southern Argentina are known for their incredible wildlife, including all sorts of birds, especially penguins. There are two main islands in the archipelago, West and East Falkland, with more than 700 smaller ones as well. There is tons of hiking to do, including the highest point in the archipelago, which is Mount Usborne.

Galapagos Islands

One of the most famous islands in the world, the Galapagos are off the coast of Ecuador and cannot be missed. With famous sealife that inspired Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution, it is both a lesson in history and an incredible natural experience.
