To ensure your kids are kept cooperative and calm(ish) throughout the vacation, try packing their favorite snacks and activities. A well-fed, entertained kid is (mostly) a happy traveler.
Involve your children in planning! Let them choose activities or even pack their own small bag. Other than giving them a sense of independence (which is always cool), it also gets them excited and gives you a helping hand.
