If you are planning a solo Jamaican adventure, you should know that in Jamaica the violent crime rate is very high. So be aware! Google about the places you would love to visit, ask people who already had an experience with this Caribbean island about the things you should or shouldn’t do there.
Raft the Rivers
Jamaica is rich in beautiful rivers and breathtaking waterfalls. If you are brave enough, go on a bamboo raft. But, watch out for the wildlife, especially the crocodiles. They are only present in the water of the Black River, so you should try either the Rio Grade or Martha Brae rivers.
