Hang Son Doong, Vietnam

Located near the Laos-Vietnam border, in the Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park in Quang Binh, the Hang Son Doon is considered to be the biggest and one of the most beautiful caves humans have discovered. It is believed to be between 2 and 5 million years old and was discovered in 1991 by a local man. This remarkable masterpiece of Mother Nature is still a mystery to the humankind.

The Cave Of Crystals, Mexico

The Cave of Crystals, situated in Naica, Chihuahua, Mexico has some of the largest natural crystals ever found, and can grow up to 12 meters. It was discovered in April 2000, at the depth of 300m (980 ft). It features a very hot temperature, and without proper protection, people can’t stay long in there, approximately 10 minutes.

Eisriesenwelt, Austria

The largest ice cave on earth made of natural limestone is located in Wefren, Austria, inside the Hochkogel mountain. It expands on 42 km of land and attracts a big amount of tourist each year. Before it was “discovered” in the 19th century, it was known only to locals who believed it was the entrance to Hell.
