]]> Singapore is famous for its wide variety of first-rate artistic buildings, sculptures, and gardens. In 1967, Singapore’s president declared that he wanted the city transformed into an urban forest. Half a century later, these buildings testify to the success of his vision.

Marina Bay Sands

Inspired by a deck of cards, this spectacular building is a casino, hotel, and entertainment complex spanning three towers with a rooftop garden.

Art Science Museum

Modeled on the form of the lotus flower and seen as the ‘welcoming hand of Singapore’, this outstanding building is an exhibition space for museum and art exhibits.

The Hive

Resembling a beehive with tufts of luscious vegetation crowning it, The Hive is a learning space for the Nanyang Technological University that spans 12 eight-story towers.

This building was designed to be a hotel in a forest. It is replete with water features, vegetative walls, and tiered sky gardens. The harmony of manmade constructions and nature makes you feel as though you are at home on earth.
