]]>In accordance with California requirements, the theme park will be opened at a limited capacity and guests will have to get a reservation in addition to purchasing an admission ticket. Additionally, the park will only be open to California residents.
On April 12th, the theme park reservation system will go live on the Disneyland website and guests with existing theme park tickets can make park reservations for the days their tickets are valid. Starting April 15th, guests without theme park tickets can start making reservations and buying tickets.
Safety measures including cleaning, required face coverings, temperature screenings, signage and barriers to promote social distancing, mobile ordering of foods and drinks, and contactless payment options will be used. Parades and nighttime spectaculars aren’t scheduled to return on April 30th and character encounters will remain socially distanced for the time being.
There are even some things to look forward to including Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance ride, which was only open for a few months before the park closed last year, and Disneyland’s Snow White-themed ride got a makeover too.
