If you are feeling adventurous and would like to experience something unexplored, we have a suggestion for you! Have you ever heard of the ancient Thai capital of Sukhothai? This breathtaking place is one of the most wonderful but yet undiscovered places in southeastern Asia, and it will be more than worth the trip!

Located in northern Thailand, the old city of Sukhothai was once the heart of Thai culture. Its name literally means ‘Dawn of Happiness’ and it will definitely bring a smile to your face as you take your first glance at its beauty.

The Sukhothai Historical Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that offers its visitors a wide array of historical attractions that are like no other in the world. Here you will be able to visit more than 200 temples that stun with their unique architecture and witness the development of authentic Thai art as it transformed throughout the country’s rich history.

Some of the most famous temples here include the Wat Mahathat, Wat Traphang Ngoen, and the Wat Sorasak. Another must-visit attraction is the 15-meter-tall Buddha statue in the middle of the Wat Si Chum temple. There are hundreds of other things you shouldn’t miss when visiting this spectacular city, but we will leave the exploring to you!
