It has been almost 55 years since the death of Martin Luther King Jr., but the legacy of the civil rights activist remains strong. Each year, his birthday is commemorated with a national holiday on the third Monday in January, and this year it will fall on what would have been his 94th birthday. This year will also see the King family host a tour to celebrate the icon.

“We invite you to spend the weekend traversing the landmarks that memorialize MLK’s vision, through a unique, three day, Washington D.C. tour, hosted by MLK’s legacy, his son, Martin Luther King III, his wife Andrea and their daughter Yolanda,” reads the description for the Continuing the Dream tour.

Held from February 17 to 20, the experience will find guests visiting significant landmarks like the MLK Memorial and National Mall where the famous acclaimed “I have a dream” speech was given, the National Museum of African American History and Culture, the National Cathedral, and the MLK Library, among others.

The final evening of the inaugural tour will include a special farewell dinner hosted by the King family. Accommodation will be provided at selected hotels, with prices starting at $1,899 per person for a double occupancy room.
