There is so much to discover in India, and even if you travel around, there is no way to taste it all. But, here is a guide to discovering some of the best condiments you’ll find.

Chutney

This can either be with fruit like mango, or with chillis and herbs. Tamarind chutney is also famous for it’s sweet and sour flavor.

Achaar

Indian style pickles, made with either fruit or vegetables and usually preserved with some sort of citrus.

~ sweet & sour mango pickle ~ Very easy to prepare!!Recipe👇🏻😊 * YouTube: https://youtu.be/sJxTcAc2pbA Ingredients: 2 large mangoes, peeled and cut into small cubes 1 tsp 1 tsp mustard seeds 1 tsp whole cumin seeds 1/2 tsp fennel seeds (optional) 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (optional) 1 tsp asafoetida 1 tsp red chilli powder 1/2 tsp black pepper powder 2 tsp salt 2 tbs sugar 1 small bowl jaggery or brown sugar 4-5 curry leaves 3 tbs oil Method: Heat oil in a kadhai/pan. Add the spices (whole & powder) one after another. Add curry leaves. Stir a while. Then add jaggery. When it starts to melt, add mango pieces. Mix well. Now add salt and sugar. Cover and cook on medium heat, until its tender. Stir in between. When the gravy thickens, turn the heat off and let it cool down.
