]]>If your baby is a newborn under a month old, we’d highly recommend avoiding travel of any kind. We’d even extend that recommendation to two months, albeit a lot more leniently. However, while it’s not recommended, it’s still allowed and very possible to do. The older your baby gets, the easier it’ll be to handle. By the time they grow to be three or four months, you’ll find that they’re a lot more alert and able to handle a trip of that magnitude.
If you’re seriously considering taking your baby on a plane, make sure you have a solid stock of diapers, wipes, and changes of clothes. Make sure you have a proper car seat, as well as a compact stroller to take them in. You should also consider the fact that your baby may cry in front of others on the plane, and if that happens, be prepared to soothe him/her as efficiently as possible so as not to disturb others. All in all, traveling with a baby can be difficult, but certainly doable. When there’s a will there’s a way, and you can definitely make it work!
