If you’re looking to embark on an exciting traveling adventure but you’re also not looking to break the bank, you’re in luck. That’s because there are plenty of places you can travel to that are incredibly cheap. The best part is that these places are also exciting in many ways, so you’re getting a lot of quality for a fraction of the price. Here are three countries that are super cheap to travel to.

Thailand

One of the most popular countries in the world to travel to is Thailand, and that’s because backpackers love it for its combination of affordability, natural beauty, party life, and luxury stays. Indeed, Thailand will certainly not cost you much if you can make it out there.

Vietnam

If it’s possible, Vietnam is even cheaper than Thailand. While also boasting natural beauty that warms the soul, Vietnam offers a bit more of a grittier aesthetic, which can also provide a powerful experience for the average backpacker.

Bali

Bali is a province of Indonesia, but we’ll allow it on this list, because it’s one of the most beautiful places you can visit in the entire world. And yet, while being such a hotspot, it’s also on the cheap side as well. If you’re looking to live the high life without constantly checking your bank account, Bali is a great option for you.

If you’ve got a major trip coming up, there’s nothing more exciting about that. However, we all know that big trips require no small amount of preparation, and you’ve better make sure you’re doing it the right way. You’re in luck though, because we’re about to give you a quick guide for how to prepare for your big trip. Here are three things to remember before traveling.

An Itinerary

The first thing you should do is prepare an itinerary for your trip. Now listen, we’re not saying that you should plan every single moment, because you want there to be room for spontaneity when you’re there. However, it’s always good to have some sort of a plan, and that includes having a good idea what you’re going to be doing there.

Proper Attire

Another thing to look out for is what you’re going to wear when you get there. You should be taking the weather into consideration, as well as any events you may be attending, and social norms as well.

Accommodations

Finally, this should go without saying, but you’d better make sure that you have a place to stay when you get there. Some people love traveling by the seat of their pants, assuming that they’ll find a place when they get there. But it’s always best to be as prepared as possible, so make sure you handle this.

Have you ever considered switching your airline loyalty? Well, if this is you, then you won’t want to lose your hard-earned points when you do. Here is what you need to know about airline status matching so that you can keep enjoying your loyalty points as you switch to the airline of your choice.

Before simply signing up, it’s important to understand what status matching means. This is a process where another airline allows you to join their loyalty program and keep your status from your existing frequent flyer program in the hopes that you will switch your allegiance. Naturally, there are numerous benefits to this type of program.

Firstly, this enables you to test the waters with another airline before fully committing. You may also get the opportunity to use points with an airline that has more suitable flight routes for your lifestyle. This could include extra baggage, priority check-in, and airport lounge access.

If you’re interested in trying this program, head to the website of your preferred airline and submit your application. Remember, each airline will have its own qualifications for this program so this may make you eligible for only a select amount of airlines’ status-matching initiatives.

Chile, a land of contrasts and natural marvels, beckons travelers with its stunning landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and warm hospitality. Whether you’re an adventure seeker, a history buff, or a food enthusiast, Chile offers something for everyone. Here are three compelling reasons to add Chile to your travel itinerary.

Majestic Landscapes

From the arid deserts of the Atacama in the north to the pristine glaciers of Patagonia in the south, Chile’s landscapes are as diverse as they are breathtaking. Explore the otherworldly beauty of the Atacama Desert, where lunar-like landscapes, geysers, and salt flats create a surreal backdrop for adventure. Journey south to the Lake District, a land of emerald lakes, snow-capped volcanoes, and lush forests ideal for hiking, kayaking, and wildlife spotting. For the ultimate adventure, embark on a trek through Torres del Paine National Park in Patagonia, where towering granite peaks, turquoise lakes, and cascading waterfalls await at every turn.

Vibrant Culture and History

Chile’s rich cultural heritage is reflected in its vibrant arts scene, traditional festivals, and historic landmarks. Explore the colorful streets of Valparaiso, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its street art, bohemian vibe, and hillside funiculars offering panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Immerse yourself in the indigenous culture of the Mapuche people in the Lake District, where traditional ceremonies, crafts, and cuisine offer a glimpse into centuries-old traditions. Discover Chile’s colonial past in cities like Santiago and La Serena, where neoclassical architecture, museums, and historic plazas tell the story of Chile’s colonial heritage and struggle for independence.

Culinary Delights

No trip to Chile is complete without indulging in its culinary delights, from fresh seafood and succulent meats to world-class wines. Sample traditional dishes like ceviche, empanadas, and pastel de choclo, or savor the flavors of Chilean cuisine in fine dining restaurants and local markets. Wash it all down with a glass of Chilean wine, produced in some of the world’s most renowned wine regions, including the Maipo Valley, Casablanca Valley, and Colchagua Valley. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience a traditional Chilean barbecue, known as an asado, where grilled meats and hearty accompaniments are enjoyed with family and friends in a convivial atmosphere.

Have you ever reached for your glass of Sangria while you sit on a stunning beach admiring the view, only to notice that your normally strong and healthy nails are looking a little worse for wear? Unfortunately, many of the activities we take part in when on vacation, from sunbathing to swimming, can weaken and damage our nails. Check out these quick remedies and products which you can pack before you go, to avoid any nail disasters and maintain your manicure for as long as possible.

Oil

A simple cosmetic oil, such as almond or rosehip, will work wonders if you massage it into your nails and the skin around them once or twice a day. You don’t need a large bottle, so this won’t steal too much space in your luggage. Make sure you let it sink in before you get your hands wet or apply any other cosmetics.

Nail Strengthener

It may be worth applying a coat or two of a good-quality nail strengthener before you head on vacation. If you get your nails done professionally, talk to your manicurist about this, or simply apply it yourself straight from the bottle. Some amount of UV rays are helpful when it comes to strengthening nails, so you want a translucent base that will let some of these rays through without absorbing so many that your nails become brittle and weak.

Nail File

A great way to keep your nails in top condition is to file off any weak or brittle sections before they have a chance to snap. Bring a file with you on vacation, so you can take care of your nails and attend to them if they start suffering from the sun, sea, and sand. When you’re filing, use gentle motions and don’t press too hard with the file.

From packing to passing through security and eventually finding your gate, the airport can be a stressful place, especially if flying is daunting for you. Here is your guide to making your airport experience as stress-free and pleasant as possible.

Secure Your Logistics Ahead of Time

Before you even get to the airport, arranging transport can be stressful. Make sure to arrange ahead of time for a family member or friend to take you and, if you intend to use a taxi, then pre-book once a few hours before you need it so you don’t have to deal with any last-minute stress. Also, double-check bus and train times if you intend to take public transport.

Get TSA PreCheck or Global Entry (if traveling through US)

In order to go through security quicker, get TSA PreCheck or Global Entry. This way, you won’t have to unpack your bags or remove your shoes at security checkpoints. Also, your line will be faster to get through, affording you more time to do other tasks.

Keep Your Documents in a Secure but Accessible Place

As you pass through the regular airport procedure, you’ll need to produce documents such as your passport and your air ticket. As a result, you should make sure to keep all of your documents in an easily accessible place in your bag so that you don’t waste time fumbling around for them. Still, make sure they are secure so you don’t lose them.
